Terms of sale
Last updated: 2026-05-25
1. Order acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to purchase, not a contract. We accept the offer when we capture payment and dispatch the order — at that point a binding sale contract exists between you and Diecast Lab. We reserve the right to decline orders (without fee) for pricing errors, fraud signals, or stock shortages.
2. Pricing & currency
Prices are displayed in the currency you selected at the top of the page and include applicable Kuwait VAT for domestic orders. Non-Kuwait currencies are converted from KWD using the live FX rate provided by our payment gateway; the rate at checkout is what you pay. Customs duties and VAT in the destination country are not included for international orders.
3. Payment
We accept KNET, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through our payment gateway uPayments. Saved cards are tokenised on uPayments' servers — Diecast Lab never sees or stores card numbers. Instalment plans (50/50, 50/25/25, 30/30/40) charge each tranche to the same payment method unless you update it from your account page.
4. Pre-orders
Pre-orders are charged on the instalment plan you choose at checkout. The first payment reserves your unit with the studio. Estimated availability dates are provided by the manufacturer and may shift — we will notify you by WhatsApp within 24 hours of any change of more than two weeks. You can cancel and receive a full refund any time up to the studio's factory-cutoff date; after that, the unit is locked to your order.
5. Ownership & risk
Title transfers on full payment. Risk transfers on delivery — if anything happens in transit, it is our problem to resolve (see Returns).
6. Limitations of liability
Our liability for any single order is capped at the order total. We are not liable for indirect losses (collector value decline, missed exhibition deadlines, third-party storage damage). Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or anything that cannot lawfully be limited under Kuwait law.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes (anything affecting existing orders) are emailed to the address on your account at least 14 days before they take effect. The version that applies to a given order is the one in force at the moment we accept the order.
